The Alzheimer's Association was founded to advance research, provide care and support for individuals affected by Alzheimer's disease, and promote brain health. The organization works to eliminate Alzheimer's through funding research, raising awareness, and advocating for public policies that support those with dementia and their caregivers. Volunteers for the Alzheimer's Association cheer on participants at events like the Walk to End Alzheimer's®, educate the community about dementia, advocate for Alzheimer's to be a national priority, and support local chapters.
