Greater Chicago Food Depository

Greater Chicago Food Depository serves as a hub in Chicago’s fight against hunger, distributing food to hundreds of partner agencies while also addressing the root causes of hunger through job training and advocacy programs. Their mission is to ensure all Chicagoans have access to nutritious food. High school students can volunteer to help sort food, prepare meals, and assist with packaging and distribution at their facility.
