Y-Literacy Tutor

The YMCA's Y-Literacy program addresses the issue of 2 out of 3 Metro Nashville Public School students reading below grade level by providing free one-on-one tutoring. They aim to improve literacy and educational outcomes for young students. Teens can become reading tutors, receive training, and use a prescribed curriculum to help K-5 students improve their reading skills, all through virtual means.
